The support to the public order and security

The Guardia di Finanza employs specialized agents called “anti- terrorism and rapid response” in order to maintain public order and security as well as the struggle against illicit traffics.

These special Units operate among the whole national territory for maintaining public order and implementing personal protective measures, in directives by public security Authorities.

Thanks to an in-depth knowledge of better police techniques and on account of peculiar operative action, “anti- terrorism and rapid response” agents give a fundamental support to economic control of the territory and to complex criminal police operations in order to counter economic and financial crime and illegal trafficking, for example in criminal environments.
