Over the years, the School, in line with the increasing commitment and tasks of the Corp abroad, has assumed an increasingly international dimension based on the awareness of the importance of developing a shared intelligence culture. Since 2014, following a Memorandum of Understanding between the OECD and the Guardia di Finanza, the School has become the seat of the International Academy for Tax Crime Investigation.

Since then, many courses have been held, particularly for officials and magistrates from developing countries.

Particularly relevant the partnerships with the Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ministry, including the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), the Organization of American State (OSA), the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN), the Inter-American Centre of Tax Administrations (CIAT).

The School is also Partnership Academy of the European Coast Guard and Border Agency (FRONTEX) and network partner of the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL).

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding in 2019 between the Guardia di Finanza and the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT), aimed at promoting and developing joint training activities to fight against the terrorist financing, should also be recalled.
