The institute flag

The Institute flag was assigned by the President of the Republic under 15th April 2009 Decree and handed over to the School’s Commander on 23th June, 2009, during the 235th Guardia di Finanza’s anniversary.

On 22nd May, 2010 the President of the Republic awarded the School flag with the Gold Cross for the Guardia di Finanza’s Merit with the following motivation: “Specialisation School of the Guardia di Finanza, during its

centenary activity, inspired by the highest principles and dedication to the nation and military traditions, has been the protagonist in an exceptional training action committing itself to the challenging task in preparing the Guardia di Finanza’s personnel to defend the nation’s economic and financial interests. Keeping abreast of the times by adapting the didactic needs to the Guardia di Finanza’s multifaceted institutional tasks, it has given consistent evidence of effectiveness, serving as a referral source for the national and international scientific and cultural scenario. Rome 1923-2010”. The flag is in the School’s Commander office.
